Kayak tour in Haapsalu

The hometown of the White Lady invites you to discover Haapsalu in a whole new way! Our kayaking trip takes us out onto Haapsalu Bay, where we’ll explore both Tagalaht and Eeslaht.

Haapsalu’s Tagalaht Bay and its surroundings are an ideal setting for kayaking trips. It is also a great place to encounter a variety of bird species. In autumn, kayaking offers a spectacular opportunity to watch flocks of geese and cranes taking flight. In summer, the entire trip is especially enjoyable under the warm sunshine.

The water is often shallow, even for kayaks, but fortunately, the route can be easily adapted to suit the group and the water level. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a variety of views, including Haapsalu Kuursaal, different harbours, Suur Viik, the old fish processing plant, and more. There are plenty of fascinating places to discover, so there is no shortage of things to explore.

At the beginning of the trip, we always go over water safety and share useful tips on how to kayak safely.

Difficulty level

The kayaking trip is relatively easy. During the approximately 9 km route, we take breaks at various locations. If you wish, there is also an opportunity to go swimming.
