Rummu Prison Break
Sometimes you simply have to think outside the box (read: outside the prison). That’s how our special solution, Escape Rummu, was born—created for a company whose summer days took place at Paekalda Holiday Center.
This is a 2.5-hour adventure game that takes participants directly inside the walls of the former Murru Prison, giving them new identities and letting them experience what it really feels like to escape from there.
A game that is more than just a game
Escape Rummu is not a classic escape room, but rather a combination of an immersive experience game and an eerie exploration of a prison. Each participant receives a name tag of a real person who once served time in that prison. Players are given a suitcase with tools and a radio for communication.
Our own game masters are also in character—as police officers, a corrupt official, and fellow inmates.
The game consists of 21 activity points between which participants move around the prison grounds. At three of these points, you’ll encounter our game masters disguised as prisoners. You can get hints from them if needed—but not for free. Just like in the old days, prisoners can be bribed with tobacco and black tea.
From the codes collected during the game, you’ll piece together a number combination that unlocks the suitcase at the final point, revealing the last clue. Then it’s time to escape the prison and take boats back to Paekalda Holiday Center.
