Over the past few months, we’ve been busy planning a special #treasurehuntestonia adventure tour designed to highlight Estonia’s unique sites and attractions.

The treasure hunt involved a group of Italians who, in the future, plan to offer a similar program in Italy for those interested in exploring Estonia. The game was created in collaboration with Visit Estonia and lasted a total of four days. So, what did the program that told the story of Estonia look like?

We divided the group into three teams – blue, black, and white – who together embarked on an adventure across Estonia. Each team took part in various playful activities, solved tasks, explored local traditions, tastes, and crafts, and collected points along the way. By the end of the fourth day, a winning team was announced and awarded a special treasure chest filled with golden contents. This is how the program got its name – Treasure Hunt Estonia.

Day 1: Exploring Prangli Island by Bike and Vihula Manor

The day started at the harbor, where participants received iPads to track their route and their first set of instructions. After a morning boat trip to Prangli Island, they embarked on the “Vikings’ Treasure Hunt” – an active biking game filled with various tasks to solve. It was a great opportunity to discover the island and get to know each other better.

After lunch, the game continued until it was time to head back to the mainland. In the evening, we arrived at Vihula Manor, where a workshop took place. The day concluded with a shared dinner at the manor’s restaurant, where participants exchanged impressions from the day.

Herlent Krik, creator of #treasurehuntEstonia:

The creation of the game took several months, as we wanted not only to select places worth visiting but also to think about the people who would welcome the group and share meaningful stories. We tied the excursion together with several of our team games and hikes, making the discovery process fun and adventurous. It was wonderful to see how the selected activities kept participants engaged right up to the final hour!

Day 2: A Walk in the Bog and Time in Laulasmaa

On the morning of the second day, we drove to Lahemaa National Park, where an “auto-adventure” took place in the form of a small competition. Along the way, teams had to solve tasks to reach the right place at the right time.

In Lahemaa, a memorable bog hike awaited, during which important information about the area was shared. Lunch was served in the forest, where Metsaköök (The Forest Kitchen) offered delicious food in the peaceful surroundings of nature.

After this experiential outdoor dining, we headed to LaSpa, where participants had a chance to relax for a while. In the afternoon, the team game The Mystery of Karl Väino led us through the trails of Laulasmaa – once again solving challenges and exploring the natural beauty of the area.

The day ended with a delicious dinner at the Wicca restaurant.

Day 3: Rummu Adventure and Padise Kastell

The day began with a drive to the former Rummu prison, where participants were greeted with an exciting competition on XL SUP boards. It was an adrenaline-filled experience on crystal-clear water, surrounded by magical views.

A delicious lunch break awaited us at Padise Kastell, where a short workshop also took place.

After lunch, we continued to the Mövenpick Hotel in Tallinn, where the day concluded with dinner at Restaurant PÄRIS – the perfect spot to end the day with great company and excellent flavors.

Day 4: Tallinn Old Town Adventure and Blind Tasting

On the final morning, we took participants on an adventure through Tallinn’s Old Town, guiding them along the city’s historic streets where they had to solve tasks and search for clues.

After that, a blind tasting experience was held at FoodStudio in Telliskivi – an activity that challenged both the senses and trust.

In the afternoon, the overall winner of the adventure was revealed when the team with the correct number combination opened the treasure chest, which contained fun and playful souvenirs.

The evening concluded with a festive group dinner at NOA Chef’s Hall in the Radisson Collection. We wrapped up the four unforgettable days by sharing reflections, stories, and feedback.

According to Alfred Baskin, the CEO of 360 KRAADI, initiatives like this are essential for showcasing Estonia and making it more attractive to tourists:

“Treasure Hunt Estonia was not just a tourism program – it was our way of presenting Estonia through a playful, cultural, and experience-based lens. Our goal was for every participant to leave not only with new knowledge and memories, but also with a deeper connection to Estonia and its people. I sincerely hope this adventure inspired the group to continue bringing others to discover Estonia. This is only the beginning!”

A heartfelt thank you to Visit Estonia for choosing us as your partner and for the trust placed in us in planning and delivering this landmark visit!
